Policies

General Information

This is a clean and sober facility. The possession and use of alcohol and drugs, including cannabis, are not permitted at The Wilson House.

Smoking and vaping (tobacco & nicotine products) is permitted only in marked areas of the grounds: on the side porch, and near the Mad Tom Road Meeting Room door. There is no smoking or vaping allowed inside of The Wilson House. Do not litter cigarettes on our premises or the neighbors’, please!

Continental Breakfast is available from 8–9am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings. For example, we offer freshly baked muffins, hard boiled eggs, assorted cereals, fruit salad, and more.

Guest rooms with private baths are Rooms 1 & 2 (Queen Suite, Twin Suite), and The Lois Burnham Wilson Suite behind the meeting room. All other guest rooms will utilize a shared bath.

Most meetings will be held in the Meeting House with the entrance on the Mad Tom Road side of the house. A full list of meetings is available on our meetings page.

Pet Policy

No pets are allowed at The Wilson House except in the Lois Burnham Wilson Suite. There is a $75 per stay fee for a pet staying in the Suite. If you plan to bring a pet, you must inform us at the time of your reservation of the Suite. No pets are allowed in the meetings here at The Wilson House.

The Wilson House follows federal law regarding Certified Service Animals.

Deposit Policy

In order to reserve a room, The Wilson House requires the first night deposit for lodging. We accept all major credit cards (Visa/MasterCard/Amex/Discover). The balance is due upon arrival for the full stay. 

Cancellation Policy

We are a small inn with only 13 guest rooms, and cancellations greatly affect our operations. If you must cancel, we require notification 14 days prior to the arrival date to receive a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee. 50% of the total stay will be charged to the card on file if you cancel within 14 days of your reservation, plus an administrative fee of $25.

No Show Policy

If you do not show up to your scheduled stay without prior contact with The Wilson House, you will be charged the entire cost of your stay.
