Family Turns Grief Into Action

We want to thank the family and friends of Franco Urrata who honored his life by creating a fundraiser on behalf of The Wilson House, the birthplace of Bill Wilson, Co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Franco lost his battle with addiction in April of 2022. His aunt, Ellen and cousin Shannon rode their horses 122 miles from Fremont, NH to The Wilson House in East Dorset, VT. Franco’s other cousins, Ryann and Alana served as support crew for the 5-day ride.

Their efforts generated over $4,000 for The Wilson House and as well as so much gratitude for the life of Franco.
